How We Started

Affordable Engine was created to be a one stop site for finding used engines and motors for all makes and models. We began this company because of the difficulty a relative had in finding a replacement transmission for an older car. It was difficult to find a real person to talk to that would take the time to explain the engine choices.

We decided we could do a better job helping people find used engines and make the process much easier. When you contact Affordable Engine we will present many engine choices at different price levels and mileage options. We will help you buy direct from the suppliers at the wholesale price.

By accessing this site you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions defined within it. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions defined within do not make a purchase or continue to access any of the pages contained within.

The following terms and conditions of this Agreement may be updated or otherwise changed from time to time. We may modify this Agreement at any time without prior notice to you.

You agree to periodically review the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement to ensure that you are aware of any modifications. If you are purchasing your parts locating service with a credit card, you hereby agree not to cancel the sale or initiate a chargeback for any reason. You agree to work with our company in order to properly resolve issues or problems and allow us to issue refunds and or credits at our discretion.

You affirm that you have the authority to use said credit card and are not making charges of an illegal or dishonest nature. By using a credit card, you are making a binding agreement to adhere to all specified terms and conditions. All uses of this site, and all information contained herein, including, without limitation, any disputes arising under or related to this Agreement, shall be governed by and interpreted pursuant to the laws of the State of Texas, without reference to conflicts of laws provisions, and the United States of America.

You expressly agree to submit to jurisdiction and venue in Harris County, Texas regardless of the location from which you access or use this site or had a part delivered to. Accordingly, any claim or action arising under or relating to this Agreement may be brought only in Harris County, Texas, and the Parties agree to waive jurisdiction and venue in any other forum. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas without regard for principles of conflicts of laws.

Our Terms and Conditions

All quotes made by NATIONAL LEVELING, INC, dba AFFORDABLE ENGINE (“Consultant” or “We”) are subject to prior sale, and unless otherwise noted, are for immediate acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel contracts where Buyer fails to provide full specifications within the time allowed.

WARRANTY AND LIABILITY: Because Consultant has no control over how parts are used and is not a party to the engine purchase transaction Consultant offers no warranty as to the results of said parts. Aside from the specific warranties stated herein or on seller’s or third party’s websites, seller makes no other warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranty of merchantability or the warranty or fitness for a particular purpose. Consultant’s liability on any claim, whether in tort or in contract, and whether on account of suppliers delivery of non-conforming goods or non-delivery, shall be limited to a refund of the locating service charge.

In no event shall affordable engines have any liability for consequential or incidental damages including, but not limited to, lost profits, damage to goodwill, loss of time, inconvenience or other commercial or economic loss. In no event shall Consultant be liable for damages exceeding the parts locating service charge.

SUPPLIER WARRANTY PROCEDURE: If the engine or parts your Supplier sells includes a Warranty, it shall be stated on your quote. Consultant is not obligated, under contract or law, to provide any assistance in resolving warranty or engine disputes with a supplier, and shall not be liable to Buyer for any damages or loss resulting there from. All engines/parts are sold by a third party Supplier/Manufacturer and Consultant acts in the capacity of an engine locator. The suppliers decision to accept any returns or honor any warranty or offer any refunds is made by the Supplier/Manufacturer, alone. For additional information regarding the Supplier/Manufacturer Warranty, please contact the individual Supplier/Manufacturer.

EXTENDED WARRANTY PROCEDURE: If the Buyer has purchased a “3 Yr/36,000 Mile Extended Warranty” at the time of sale, the third party Warranty Provider shall provide Buyer with all required information in the event Buyer needs to file a claim. Consultant shall have no responsibility or liability in assisting Buyer with a claim under the Extended Warranty. Further, if Buyer’s claim under the Extended Warranty is denied for any reason, Consultant shall not be liable to the Buyer for any damages or losses. Buyer acknowledges and agrees that the Extended Warranty is provided by a third-party and that Consultant has no interest or control over said third party or the Extended Warranty provided therein. RETURNS: Consultant shall, in no event, be liable for any claim resulting from the installation, alteration or repair of any engines or parts purchased by Buyer. Buyer agrees these Terms and Conditions, stated herein, shall be constructed in accordance with, and governed by, the laws of the State of Texas, and Buyer further consents to the jurisdiction of any court located in Harris County, Texas.

SEVERABILITY: If any provision hereof is determined to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
